This page is a good place for those who are really pressed for time as it provides really short workouts that can be done anywere (even whilst travelling or in the office where not much equipment, time or space is available). Although not ideal (would be better to do more when and where possible) , but even 10 minutes of planned physical exercise a day will have lots of benefits than those who do none.

Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer

Get the body you want in less time with Tony's power-packed total-body workouts. With 10-Minute Trainer, you have no more excuses! The program contains total body workout, cardio workout, abdominal workout and yoga to stretch the sore muscles. The only required equipment for this workout is resistance bands.



This workout series is available for as little as $20 on places like eBay and Amazon.

Stretching Exercises

12 Minute Athlete

This is based on an app that costs $3.99 on the google play store. The app is also available on the app store for Apple devices. This app offers HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) that last 12 minutes or less. The User is able to select the type of workouts they would like to do and the app compiles them to create a quick workout. This is suitable for all as exercises can be selected on physical competency. Many of these workouts do not require any equipment, so they can be done anywhere, anytime.

Intense Training

This resource is freely available on youtube. The exercises in this youtube channel vary by time, physical competency, the type of workout and the equipment(s) required. There is a workout that lasts only 3 minutes. The exercises are adaptable to all levels of fitness and can be done anywhere, anytime. Many of these exercises are also bodyweight exercises, meaning they do not require any pieces of equipment.

Convict Conditioning

This is a book by Paul Wade. A former convict turned fitness coach published this book which contains short workouts where amateurs can finish their daily workouts in 2 five minute sessions a day. The workout are suitable from amateurs to elite athletes and much of it is body-based workouts. The only equipment required is a pull-up bar, but even that is required much later when the person exercising is nearing the end of the program. The Book can be purchased from as little as $20 online or even cheaper in some places.
